I had a number of interesting comments on the Nigel Bowden blog post. I’m guessing I finally hit a nerve with Nigel and he got somebody to tell us all what a stand-up guy Nigel Bowden really is It started with this comment:

I think this guy is a great sales person and honest person. I bought a car 2 years ago and its passed 2 mot, great car. great business, great person.

Now lets think about a person who was so happy with the used car service provided by Bowden cars 2 years ago that they googled the latest venture of Nigel (Senna Autos) and discovered this site. Only to be horrified, horrified I tell you, that the Hyde motor company, Dukinfield car sales, Bowden Cars and Senna Autos are not the pillars of the community they appear to be, shocked face.

I think a better explanation is that this person has been put up to commenting, or maybe its Nigel himself.

So I thought I would double check that I had not simply misunderstood this “great person” and went to see what other customers thought about the “great cars”, “great business” and the all round amazing sales guy he is. Here is a small sample of what I found:

Communication from them on the phone and by email was rude, threatening to delay payment and make us incur costs before they would refund money. Disgusting way to treat customers.

So looks like I didn’t misunderstand. There are plenty more reviews like these and if you do want more then just google reviews for Bowden cars and Hyde motor company.

After I wrote this original blog post I received further comments from the same person

Honest guy this leave him alone, I believe hes got the police on you lot, disgraceful

I could post more examples of “Honest” behaviour but I don’t think I need to by now. Interesting that the police are on their way. Hopefully its to pay him a visit for ripping off so many people. The next comment followed shortly after.

People will do anything for abit of 15mins fame,

I guess people will also do anything to make money. Including scamming dozens of innocent people with wrecks of cars. The final comment arrived 3 days later.

I guess we are resorting to threats now. Although given the past behaviour documented in all the reviews I should not be surprised.

I suppose this still leaves us with the mystery of the commenter. Is it a friend or family member, maybe even Nigel himself. I wonder if he looks in the mirror and tells himself each morning what a great sales guy he is?

It looks like somebody else is jumping to Nigel Bowden‘s defence. While admirable I cannot help but think this loyalty is misplaced

I think that you are going to loose everything and we are in touch with Google to find you, we have your mobile number and address. This is disgusting and not warranted this is not legal and now a matter for the police, have a great weekend.

I think this person is losing site of the fact that all the information on this site is freely available on the internet and has come from the dozens of innocent people conned by the many used car companies run by Nigel Bowden. So they are correct this is disgusting and not warranted, hopefully Nigel will realise this and change the way he runs the latest of his used car dealerships.
